A: AnswerAn SSD will allow for faster loading and boot up of games. When a game is made with a SSD in mind the game will use less of your system RAM.. Freeing up system RAM can have large performance improvements.. Furthermore the "pop in" and "stuttering" glitches in games are FAR less common.. THIS SSD is a carbon copy of the SSD in the Series X/S So that you get the same gaming experience as if it was installed in the console and further increases how much storage you have..Answered by Mike
- A: AnswerAt this time, this is the only SSD that works with the new Xbox Architecture (required for XSX games). You can still plug HDD/SSD in via USB3.0; however, they can only be used for OG Xbox/X360/XB1 games, and NOT for XSX games.

The little Storage that Could
This Expansion card is a must have for any gamer looking to expand thier library of installed games. With it's lighting fast transfer speed and the abllity to play games straight from the card that matches the OEM drive is impressive. Even so that it sometimes has even faster load times. The only thing holding consumers back from enjoying a much needed expansion card is the price. I do wish it was more affordable, especially the 2tb model. Which is what I really wanted to have. Installing is super easy, plug it in the Xbox detects the drive and your good to go. You can play any game from this drive. All in all I highly recommend you pick this up. With all the fantastic games Aval on Xbox Gamepass this is Top tire to never worry about finding your next Favorite game.

Don't overthink it.
If you download a lot of games then go ahead and buy this. Premium look and compliments the Series X. Plug and play.
