A: Hello EmGee - Yes, the feature will be available. The Jabra Elite 85t was released in November 2020 when that feature was not available on Jabra devices yet but is now offered on the Elite 3, Elite 4, Elite 5 and Elite 7 Series.
A: Yes, as long as your device has bluetooth capability, the earbuds are compatible.
Q: What is the NRR rating for these earbuds?
A: Hello, Bob - Thank you for your question. The Elite 8 Active is not rated for hearing protection, and we do not recommend using them in that manner. For more information about the hearing protection standards that our devices follow, please check this link (https://bit.ly/4bMu8Yd). However, those standards only apply to sounds produced by our products. Again, we do not recommend using our devices as hearing protection against external sources.
Q: Is there a volume adjustment for hearing.
A: Yes, aside from using your phone to adjust volume, the left earbud turns sound down while the right earbud is used to turn sound up.
A: Hello - No, the Jabra Elite 8 Active does not have the capability of being a hearing aid, but we kindly recommend checking out our Jabra Enhancement series of hearing aids to fit your needs.
A: I have gone swimming with mine and have had no issues. Just watch how much time you are submerged or have direct water continuously on them. As will all electrical devices no matter the ip rating just be cautious
Q: Are these the Gen 2 version? What is the release date of this product?
A: No it's gen 1 and the only real difference in the gen 2's are the case.
