    I just don’t recommend Dyson vacuums. I mean maybe if you buy a cheaper model and don’t care if it dies in two years. But I bought this model (detect absolute) from their website. Over $700. Motor died a year in. It was still under warranty. Drove almost 2 hours to the service center to change the motor. They covered it. Told me I can’t vacuum cat litter because it will destroy the motor. What’s the point of an almost thousand dollar vacuum but I can’t use it for cat litter which is thing that a large portion of the population has to vacuum regularly if you own a cat. So I used it much less for around the litter box (got a little bissell handheld) and just used it for other carpets. Now I’m 15 months out from when they changed the first motor and it died again. Out of warranty. They want almost $200 to replace the motor. I’m just done with it. A Dyson of this price shouldn’t die twice in 2 years. No way to buy extended warranty. Customer service doesn’t offer any help. Can’t use it for litter. Can’t use it for vacuum bags. Can’t use it for literally anything that a normal person would use a vacuum for since the beginning of time. I’d rather just buy a $200 vacuum and when it dies, it dies.

    I love my new Dyson V15 and wished I had upgraded years ago. It's so much quieter, battery lasts longer and has great suction. It's mind blowing how dirty my floors were when I first used it. I can now see all the dust & dog's hair with the green light and here I was thinking that I kept my floors reasonably cleaned! I feel as if I have a house cleaner helping me:)

    I love the Dyson V15 Detect. It’s a beautiful and powerful vacuum. The laser light on the main hard floor attachment is one of my favorite features — it reveals every speck of dust and makes you want to clean the whole house! It’s oddly satisfying. That said, the vacuum is quite heavy, especially on the wrist and arm. The large battery adds to the weight, and while I appreciate the long run time, it does make extended cleaning a bit tiring. I wouldn’t necessarily want a smaller battery, but I do wish the weight was better distributed. Another thing I don’t like is the lack of lighting when using other attachments, like the carpet head or the smaller tools. If you’re vacuuming in a dark corner or under furniture. Overall, it’s a fantastic vacuum in terms of performance and looks, but it could use some improvements in ergonomics and lighting versatility.

The battery lasts quite long as long as it’s in auto mode. I don’t care for the fact that you have to change heads to vacuum carpet and floors. Also I feel the particle graph is pointless. It never changes and doesn’t reset itself. You have to manually reset it. There is basically no instructions provided with the vacuum. The online chat is less than helpful as well. Not thrilled with this purchase considering how expensive it was. This is now my third Dyson and rest assured it’ll be my last.

    Love it my first Dyson - I find getting the main attachment off tricky but will get easier with time. I do wish the instructions were on a sheet of paper and not on the app but overall good so far. Also my goodness it shows how bad other vacuums are for the amount of muck you get when you use a Dyson. It’s perfect for when my grandson comes over it removes the cat hair perfectly

    On all floors it’s simply perfect! It handles dog hair, crumbs and anything! I use it for work so after an hour it does feel a little heavy but nothing compared to the tanks I used to have to handle. The stairs are a child’s game and I just really love this vacuum :)

I love the illuminated cleaning piece that lights up and shows you where all the dust and dirt is it is brilliant....it stays charged for a good while I can do my 3 bedroom house hallway and lounge and kitchen area with ease. Its quiet I use the little attachments to clean my car just brilliant and so easy to clean the filter when needed.

    Upgraded from a V6 animal and the V15 is amazing! It picks up every bit of fluff, hair and dust. The only downside to this vacuum is that it is quite heavy, however I expect I will get used to it. So happy that I finally upgraded to a newer Dyson. Keeping the old V6 to clean the car.

    I splurged on the V15 and I couldn't be happier with it! It's my first stick-style vacuum and it holds up surprisingly well against the dirt my dogs and husband are tracking in. It was easy to assemble, easy to switch attachments, and I love how much it breaks down to ensure you're getting all of the dirt out (no stuck pieces of anything you have to dig out and worry about damaging your expensive vacuum).
