Great sound quality, easy to use, and holds a charge really well. I would give it 5 stars, but you have to unplug the aux cable for Bluetooth to work -- unacceptable extra step that I would consider before buying again.

I love this speaker. Sound quality is great and the light show is entertaining. I have the XB33 and XB23 as well. Pairing can be tricky, but works well once you get the hang of it.

I bought this speaker had it 2 days and suddenly the lights quit working but the speaker still worked. After returning it and receiving the replacement speaker it’s been working great, fingers crossed it’s only been a little over two weeks. Prior to this I owned the smaller version and had no issues but it just doesn’t have bass like it’s sister.

Love this speaker! This unit has taken up permanent residence at my outdoor pool. I swim three hours a day for exercise, and this speaker provides music and time checks from my phone to keep me swimming on schedule. It is waterproof so it stays out rain or shine, hot or cold, and provides powerful, clean audio for great music at all times. Battery strong, great bass response, easy to connect to Bluetooth. Highly recommended.

Remember old school where you bought bigger & bigger speakers for better & better sound. Well those days are long gone. You can buy smaller bluetooth speakers than this for shoving in your pocket but for that big sound in your living room or a party speaker on the beach or outdoors, this is it. Sound quality & volume to rival the best of the big old school speakers. Looks smart on the TV stand. And so easy to use. Just select a playlist from your phone. Waterproof & rinseable (to remove sand, etc)

I freaking love this bluetooth speaker. It was so easy to set up and downloading the app with the QR code was simple. The speakers are very responsive and the bass can be felt. I am currently breaking them in and loving it.

As a Sony product holder, I’ve found quality across their market. This hefty speaker is no exception. It produces great sound from such a little speaker, for its size, moreover. It plays most types of music with clarity and a bassy punch. Like most speakers, in this spectrum, there is an acceptable amount of bass distortion at higher volumes. What’s nice, is that to get more volume, in all senses of the word, is to add/party speakers for larger areas. I’ve used this while on the deck grilling/entertaining and while working from home. I have had no issues with pairing to my devices and highly recommended this for entry level sound (less than $500). The ambient light feature makes it easy to remember that it is on and prevents it from being left outside to weather nighttime storms. Speaking of which, I have not tested it’s waterproof IP67 rating, but seems very well sealed. This replaced a sound link mini II and I’m happy with the upgrade.
