This card for the money is great with does 12 gigs because it has potential for future games. So it's just a matter of waiting for AMD to finally release fidelityFX and for games to get optimize for AMD as well.

This worked great and the card looks really nice and is fairly compact. The silver color can be a little gaudy and difficult to match to a system, but with current availability, if you can get it. Do

This is the second time I buy a XFX card, the first one is 6800XT Merc 319 from other retailer, this 6700XT I got lucky when BB drop on launch day but unfortunately, I totally disppointed because the package shipped to me look like an opened box card. The outter box was sealed with reckless tape style, the plastic cover the card with no original tape, a bit dirt look like finger print on the fan shroud, and the last one is look like glue on the blacl pattern of the card. I have no idea this is from shpping or from the manufacturer, I keep it because I wont get replacement due to high demand reason, but totally think twice for next XFX product.

Got this by waking up early on launch day.
Pros:
2080 Ti performance in certain titles
12GB of VRAM for 4K gaming (doesn't suffer stutter like 8GB cards do)
Compact size
Low power draw
Great looks
Cons:
Not as versitile as a 3060 Ti/3070 (they have DLSS and efficient ray-tracing)
Can't be used for as many algorithms as an NVIDIA card if you're into mining and not as high of a bus bandwidth as its NVIDIA competition for the MSRP (so, slower at ETH).
AMD didn't put cooling pads on the rear of the card for the aluminum backplate to passively cool it. Very easy to add, however. Bought a 1mm 100x100 pad, unscrewed the backplate, put cut-to-size pieces on memory/vrm spots, and slapped it back together. Mem temp went down a couple degrees. Happy happy.
Conclusion:
I love this card for being low on power consumption, affordable, and great for games like Sniper Elite 4, Prey, and Dishonored at 4K60 maximum settings. Because it's worse for mining than its competitors, you can snag these up for cheaper. At MSRP its a no-brainer.

Like with any GPU right now, these are hard to get. This card is worth it at $479 but the overpriced AIB cards (XFX, Gigabyte, Aorus) are not worth it at those prices.
In terms of performance, this lands in between the 3060ti and 3070 depending on the game. AMD sponsored titles will run better than a 3070, Nvidia sponsored titles will land in the middle. Drivers and AMD Radeon software have been solid so far and I have not experienced any driver crashes or issues like with the RX 5000 series.
I hope everyone who wants one is able to get one soon. Do not buy from scalpers!

Card runs really well. I upgraded from a gtx 1050 ti and this card is miles ahead of that card. It runs hot, with peak hotspot temps in the 90's and overall high running temps in the mid 80's, but this is apparently normal for this card. It is able to run any of my games (including cyberpunk 2077 and horizon zero dawn) at 1080 ultra settings and a min average fps of 80 (most games it is well over 120 fps average). This is paired with a ryzen 3600x and 32 gb ddr4 3600 ram. I am upgrading to an rtx 3070 because I really want the better ray tracing and the DLSS, but otherwise this card is great. I also like the gforce drivers a bit better.

In terms of gaming, this card performs slightly below an RTX 3070. Despite the lower memory bandwidth and less CU cores, the clock speed and 12gb of VRAM more than makes up for it. At stock speeds I was able to get 144fps high settings in competitive games such as Apex Legends (with a Ryzen 7 2700X), and also maintain a steady 60fps at 1080p on Red Dead Redemption 2 with every single graphical setting on ultra.
The only issue is that this card is not good at mining, having a lower hashrate than the RX 5700 XT, which is great news for gamers. Scalpers and miners will tend to avoid this card, making it somewhat easier to get than other high end models.
A:Its not due to shortages in chips. Its because the entire industry (except gamers, who are its backbone) LOVE what is happening. They are ALL raising prices and PLAN TO KEEP THEM THERE. All Best Buy has to do is have a "one video card per verified billing address" policy. BUT THEY DONT. And now, the card manufacturers no longer need provide the most difficult and costly parts of their "added value" commitment, customer support and product warranty. Because.. on top of these insane prices, every card sold on ebay, HAS NO WARRANTY. They L O V E love it. Get used to it or bribe your congressman the way Ticketma_____ did in 2017 (if you use a bot to scalp ____etmaster, you go to jail.) Dont hate the player.
