I purchased this product when it was first released (and loved it) but when covid hit, I failed to use it daily and then stopped altogether, not due to any issues from the serum, just from lack of funds decided to cut my routine down to the basics. perfect vitamin c serum
so gentle, so lightweight, and so effective! i have super sensitive skin, and this is the first vitamin c serum i have tried that doesn't burn at all. i have been using it for over a month now; i have noticed improvements in my skintone and my dark spots are starting to fade. i bought another bottle to gift to my grandmother, who is notoriously hard to please, but she loves it too! favorite part of my skincare routine!
Best Vitamin C
I have been looking for a vitamin C that doesn't break me out. After much research, and comparing product ingredients on all of my skincare, I discovered that butylene glycol clogs my pores and gives me a lot of closed comedones on my forehead. This serum has good, clean ingredients that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. For reference: I have combo (oily t-zone and dry cheeks), very reactive, and acne-prone skin. This serum glides on nicely, but my face needs to be the slightest bit damp otherwise it rubs in a bit odd. Aside from that, it leaves my skin feeling great! I highly recommend this if you're needing a vitamic c serum but struggle to find things that do not break you out!
Not Worth the Pilling
I purchased this product specificlaly for the azelaic acid benefits and although I did see results before finishing the bottle, I can't completely say it was only this product. I am currently using a list of skincare imgredients recommened to fade discoloration. So although this may be helping my routine, it's not fast enough to be worth all the pilling. I dont recommend using this in the daytime. Everything else about the product is fine. It has little to no scent, the texutre aloe-like. It dries down a little sticky but that goes away after applying moisturizer. As other reviews say, a little goes a long way. I normally use no more than 1-3x drops. However, ill have to move on to a different product.
