Q: How many remotes are included with the Remote Starter kit?
A: I only got one. How do I go about getting another one?
Q: How long does it usually take to install
A: I have a 2012 Toyota Sienna. It took them a little over an hour to complete my installation.
A: The price listed on best buy includes installation from a best buy expert.
Q: Will I need to buy anything extra to complete the install
A: No, everything is in the installation kit and the Best Buy technicians did a great job.
Q: Do you have to use the app? I'd prefer to use just the remote starter itself.
A: I use my remote start daily without the app. TBH, I did not even know there was an app.
Q: Is a T harness required with all installation kits? The Tech told me I was missing the T harness
A: Yes a t-harness is require it goes in so they don’t have to splice any wires and this way it makes it easier to install and remove. This is a cleaner way like with radios doing the same thing with a harness to go in between the car harness and the radio harness.
Q: Does this have the ability to adjust temps remotely?
A: No. It starts the engine, stops the engine and opens and closes the door - that is it, but it is awesome! You must set the heater/AC before you get out the night before.
Q: Will it automatically shut off in a certain amount of time
A: Yes. When it is installed you will need to choose how long to run for. 15 20 or 30 minutes.
