Q: Is there something else I have to buy to use this product and extra adapter I have I PS4 thanks
A: For the ps4, you don't need anything extra to use it. For the PS5 however, you need the hdmi splitter from Astro which is around 40 bucks (That's only if your tv or monitor doesn't have an digital optical port.) If your screen has that port, then you don't need anything extra.
A: The sound is incredible with great bass and the app helps the mix amp enhance the quality to give you the ideal sound you desire.
A: I think the cable might be the same between the old and new mixamp. But if you bought the protection plan then go have it replaced for free. Otherwise go to Astro's website and order a replacement cable from there. My kid broke his cable for his A10 headset and I just ordered a replacement from Astro directly along with an extra for my A40 just in case I broke mine.

A: No, there is no Bluetooth capability with this headset.
Q: Will I be able to adjust party chat volume and game volume separately on ps4?
A: So the way this headset works is by using it with the mix amp that it comes with. On the mix amp, you have two separate volume controls, one for the overall volume that comes through both ear pieces and the other one for your voice speaking into the microphone attached to the headset. You can adjust both volumes on the mix amp according to your liking however, those two volume controls will not adjust the additional volumes on your game console/ pc. Those volumes on your console/pc can be adjusted through your settings.
A: It’s a bit late but I had the same issue you need to go to astros main website and order a new micro usb cord for the mix amp
