I wish I new there was artificial fragrance in this, I wouldn't have bought it. I thought it was a clean brand. It smells weird and I don't like any unnecesary toxins. Disappointed.

I love how it washes all my gunk on my face away! So refreshing and it wakes me up in the morning. I never used to use toner, but it's so easy to use! I love how it smells of roses and brightens my face. Pretty cheap too.

Like other reviewers, I've been using this product for years. Didn't realize the product had been reformulated, and started experiencing blemishes combined with unusual dryness and redness. I realized I had started a new bottle of toner and researched the ingredients, and found the culprit--this new formulation. Such a shame! I would happily pay a few dollars more for the original formula--if this is to save manufacturing costs, just go back to the original formula and let us pay a little more to get a good product. I won't be paying anything for this new subpar product. You've lost a customer, and from the looks of the reviews, many customers.

New formula worse than the original. Please bring it back. What are we doing here? Also, please bring back the Rosehip rejuvenating serum, that stuff was Godly.🙏🏼I use thayers everyday, I hope you can be a more communicative & accommodating brand

Thayers makes excellent products, this one is my favorite, the rose fragrance is AMAZING! But all of their facial toners make my face and any other areas of my body feel fresh and clean!

This used to be my all time favorite toner! The old formulation was excellent. Now it actually breaks me out! Does anyone know a dupe for the old variant?

When I travel I like keeping my skincare routine the same is very important to me. Thank goodness Thayer toner was available in a mini. I used it for 5 days 2 times a day and still have plenty left for my next vacation!!

So disappointing when companies reformulate without letting their customers know!! This toner was my favorite, and now it feels completely different on the skin and has a different ingredient list. There was absolutely no need to add polysorbate 20 to this product….Completely useless ingredient that can trigger fungal acne/ yeast overgrowth on the skin. This toner makes my skin mad now. Thayers!!!! Why ruin a great thing?!?

My favorite toner. Even my teenage son likes it better than some non scented toners we’ve tried. He prefers this wonderful very lightly scented toner. Works great to keep my skin clean and really helps my son’s teenage oily skin.

I just picked up a new bottle of my favorite toner (Thayers Rose Petal, alcohol free) and used it for the first time this morning. I could immediately tell that something had changed (face felt dry/tight, rose scent was different), so I dug the old bottle out of the recycling bin and compared the ingredients and confirmed that the formula had changed. Aloe is farther down on the ingredients list and there are more chemicals added. Even the species of rose is different. Why? Why would you change a perfect formula? Did y'all think we would be too stupid to realize that you changed the formula? Even the "frequently ask questions" page lies about the change ("new bottle same formula"). I'm going to try to return this bottle with the new L'Oreal formulation. It's gross. I'll be sure to share this finding with friends and family.

I’ve always loved this product—it made my face feel clean and hydrated. However, I bought a new bottle today and immediately noticed a difference. It felt like it stripped my skin, and there’s also a new scent that I didn’t notice in previous bottles. It seems like they must’ve changed the formula, which is really disappointing. I’m planning to return it and try something else.

I loved all the previous formulation up till this current formulation. No longer work magic on me - no radiant smooth skin. Won't be buying with this new formulation, too many chemicals in it. Don't fix if it is not broken. It is the older formula that makes the brand famous and well known worldwide.

Went to re buy the same one I've been using for a long while. Saw they redid the label (looks more K beauty now versus old timey look, which I didn't mind). But they also changed the ingredients again, lowering the level of Aloe and added new things. Why!!! Stop changing what works really well. The red lid is the same but the plastic of it feels thinner/cheaper. This does not bode well to me. Is the company going cheaper with quality of product as well? I see the witch hazel and aloe in it is no longer organic either. Also the type of rose has changed, from centifolia to damascena. Rosa damascena (Damask rose) and Rosa centifolia (May rose) are both types of roses used in perfumery and skincare. They have different scents and are produced in different regions. The rose in the original formula is produced mostly in France and the new one in mostly Syria and Turkey. I haven't opened my new bottle to see how different it smells as I plan to return it. Companies may not think we see the changes or care, but we do. Time to find a new rose toner.

I broke out terribly while using this! My skin was great prior. I’ll go back to the unscented version. My skin is red, dry, textured, and pimples all over. Never again! My skin is sensitive. Beware..
